Kannivalism - humority This short (less than 60 seconds ._.) "instrumental" (well, there's voice in it but not lyrics) peice is actually just as cool as a regular song if not more interesting. It's got bits and peices of different things, but generally what I want to do is keep playing it over and over again. Definately could've been longer but it's used as an introduction to a maxi-single so it's fulfilling its purpose being just long enough to wet your appetite for the first song but not too long. 8D Kannivalism - in a brown study If you loved Baroque there's no way you can't like this song. I MEAN COME ON. Anyway, this is a slow, tranquil song with lighter bits and such. Phantasmagoria - Suicide Gemini HOW COULD I NOT HAVE ROTATED THIS ALREADY?! Wow, this is one of my favorite songs ever!! O_O AUGH! Okay, so Phantasmagoria is great visual-kei, but this song was mixed for the Shock Wave complilation so it's produced better. I love love love the beginning. Ai Otsuka - Happy Days Well, after a suicide song here at Moonshine it's customary to put up a happy song! (Just kidding.) Anyway.. if you like girly, high-pitched, and sugary sweet songs this one's for you. Totally j-pop, and I realize it goes against the site description, but oh well. orz Hiskarea - 1/3 no Shitsujyou Didn't intend to upload Phantasmagoria this rotation since I already decided I was going to upload Hiskarea-- but as long as they're both going up I'd like to draw attention to the fact that they have the same amazing vocalist. This is one of the best examples of visual-kei I've come across lately, and with Kenji/Riku's vocals it only grows on me as time passes. I really hope he continues after Phantasmagoria breaks up. ToT Hiskarea - Cat like a F-risky Another song I can't believe I haven't put up-- it seems that all the songs I've put up here don't begin to cover the expanse of j-music I have and want to share, mostly since I was either on hiatus during moments of good music or I avoided uploading what the other rotations were putting up at the time and now there are no rotations putting this stuff up, so now I have to! This song has a live video that goes along with it and even though it doesn't do as much for me as the song above this one right now this song IS STILL REALLY COOL if you don't mind the funny screamyness. Ahh, it reminds me of Vidoll so bad. Vizell - Shitsuke Having a vocalfest today apparently. I'm uploading this band because I want to share one of my favorite vocalists of all time-- Tatsuya. His voice will sound REALLY WEIRD at first, but the more I hear it the more I think, "Whut, he was BORN with that voice and he's singing with it dangit whether you like it or not." This is just overall a pretty sexy song, but Vizell was good with that. Come on people, where are my visual-kei supporters?! REPRESENT! Vizell - Doubt Dance Another sexy song, reuploading because Vizell wasn't around long enough to make too much music. So anyway, listen to the way he sings the verses-- it's alluring. Grasping at whatever I can recognize from the lyrics with my basic understanding of Japanese I'd say the way he sings is appropriate as well. XD It just kills me how he's not making music anymore. T0T~ Oh, and did I mention I love how he ends the song even though it's potentially embarrassing? 8D Jui of Vidoll and his sexy antics are called to mind. (That's the second time Vidoll is mentioned today o-o) D'espairsRay - ANGELDUST I'll just restate how amazing the entire MIRROR album is, and upload another song from it. I can't stop listening to it-- their music never gets old for me, it just becomes more beloved. I know I'm biased-- I know I'm not the only one-- I don't care. It has love n I sharez. X3 The Flare - Meguriaeru Nara This is the one song I remember when I think of Sugizo's entire solo career-- I don't remember anything he did with Spank Your Juice, maybe because my memory was terrible but also because I just didn't believe it. I think Yuna's voice is really the last peice in what Sugizo was trying to achieve after Luna Sea-- and it's really beautiful. It's too bad they ended it so quickly. Metronome - phi D-SANSKRIT I wonder if anyone remembers when Metronome was new and cool. :/ Just renewing the interest, Metronome should've stayed popular along with the more poppy bands like Nightmare and Alice Nine-- the only problem is they're techno-rock. Is there really such a low demand for techno? Blah, such a social injustice. ACIDMAN - World Symphony Counteracting all the visual-kei on this rotation I'm putting up some really pretty awesome generic j-rock for anyone who doesn't already have to enjoy it. This song really is a keeper. Lynch. - The Universe I grabbed THE AVOIDED SUN album off Dai a while ago and told myself I'd have to upload SOMETHING from it-- my first pick is my favorite song, a blatantly heavy rock (metal? I hesitate to call it that since I'm mostly oblivious to the line between the genres) song with plenty of growl-effects. But it's so catchy :D;; I really just like everything about it so there's really no point in me telling you what's good about it. >_> Lynch. - anemone Second pick, another great song and you can hear Hazuki's vocals better in this one since he lays off the growling and favors a lighter, softer tone. The man has range, I swear! I keep going back and forth between preferring his singing and his growling though, can't pick only one >q Lynch. - dazzle Since I'm being generous lately in hopes that it'll get me more traffic and make all the work I put into each rotation worthwhile--- this is another favorite off the album for me. Definately a recommended download, but then I think you should all download everything I put up. orz |

Version Thirty-eight (woah, getting up there now lol) features the new Kannivalism, scanned by me. Yes, their music is amazing. Layout created using my own stock photos and Photoshop 7. Will I convert to CS? Maybe someday, but not today. Anyway, I suppose this looks best in Firefox... but IE has colored scrollbars so IE users enjoy that and enjoy the various glitches that I'm not paid to fix. >_> |
